RED66’s Causes We Love Year-Round

The season of gratitude is here, and while Giving Tuesday and Thanksgiving remind us to pause and reflect, we believe giving back is a year-round focus. We're fortunate to work alongside clients and communities that inspire us daily. So, we wanted to share some of the causes closest to our hearts, and hopefully get you thinking about yours, too.
The Organizations We Support
The Barn Theatre
Creativity fuels everything we do, which is why we're proud sponsors of one of our clients; The Barn Theatre. They’re a non-profit and provide instruction, training, and hands-on experience in theatrical production; Led by a volunteer board of local business owners, community leaders, and theatre devotees, The Barn Theatre proves that when you support the arts, you're investing in experiences and opportunities that stay with people forever.
American Marketing Association of West Michigan
We're also proud partners with the American Marketing Association of West Michigan. Since 1952, AMA has been the go-to resource for marketers looking to grow in their careers and shape successful businesses. What we love about this organization? They're all about inspiring dialogue, inclusion, passion, and creativity.
Feeding America
When we talk about causes that matter, Feeding America tops the list. Did you know that 47 million Americans face food insecurity? Whether you donate to Feeding America nationally or support your local food pantry, every contribution helps.

Pound Buddies
Pound Buddies is Muskegon County’s only open-admission shelter. They welcome all dogs, no matter their age, breed, or background, providing medical care, training, and lots of love. Their goal? Reuniting lost pets with their families and finding forever homes for those in need. Plus, they work hard to reduce unwanted pets through spay and neuter programs and keep our community’s pets safe through education and partnerships with local law enforcement.

Where Our Team Makes a Difference
Greater Grand Rapids 100 Women Who Care
"I love coming together with this group of women who have huge hearts."
Sherry is part of Greater Grand Rapids 100 Women Who Care, a giving circle that meets quarterly to support local non-profits. What makes this special? It's about discovering the incredible work happening right in our backyard and amplifying its impact. There's something powerful about collective giving, and the joy of knowing you're part of something bigger.
Kids’ Food Basket
Several RED66 team members have volunteered at Kids' Food Basket, an incredible organization that works to end childhood hunger in our community. They provide nutritious, ready-to-eat meals to children who might otherwise go hungry, making sure every child has access to the food they need to learn, grow, and thrive. Kids’ Food Basket also focuses on education and community outreach, helping kids and families build healthier habits and stronger futures. Volunteering with them has given us a front-row seat to the positive impact they make every day, and we’re proud to support their mission.
League of Women Voters & First Day Shoe Fund
Kimberly volunteers with the League of Women Voters, working to protect voting rights, support democracy, and create positive change through civic engagement. From ensuring election integrity to making it easy for people to contact their representatives, the League proves that democracy works when we all participate.
She's also a supporter of the First Day Shoe Fund in Kalamazoo, a nonprofit dedicated to giving every elementary student in Kalamazoo County a brand-new pair of athletic shoes. Their mission is simple but powerful: to spark confidence, joy, and excitement in children by making sure they have shoes that fit and support them. Every pair helps a child put their best foot forward and feel ready to take on the school day.
Crash’s Landing Cat Rescue
As a cat mom who has adopted from Crash’s Landing before, Claire knows firsthand the difference pet adoption can make. This Grand Rapids sanctuary is the city’s largest no-kill shelter for at-risk and stray cats, giving them a second chance at life. Many of their residents have faced abuse, abandonment, or neglect, but at Crash’s Landing, they find a safe, loving environment, medical care, and the chance to thrive. With a team of dedicated staff and volunteers, the organization works tirelessly to provide food, medicine, and comfort helping every cat on their journey to a forever home.
Detroit Dog Rescue
Our former team member Sydney has a special connection to Detroit Dog Rescue—it's where she found her dog Pudge! Founded in 2011, this nonprofit has been Detroit’s first no-kill shelter, dedicated to rescuing abandoned and abused dogs and giving them the care, training, and love they need to thrive. Beyond adoptions, DDR advocates for humane rescue practices, spay and neuter programs, and community education, working closely with local organizations and authorities to address the city’s stray and homeless dog population.
What Organizations Do You Support?
When you support a cause you care about, you inspire others to do the same. Whether you have time to volunteer, dollars to donate, or friends you can spread the word about an organization doing great work—it all adds up and it all matters.
This Giving Tuesday (and every day after), we encourage you to find your cause. What makes your heart sing? What change do you want to see in the world? Start there!
Because together, we can create a community where everyone (human and animal alike!) has what they need to thrive.
