Brand Transformation Case Study
Transforming H3Diversity into H3Being
Client Overview
At H3Being, leadership is about more than just authority; it's about fostering self-awareness, emotional intelligence, and practical action in today’s diverse workplace. With their unique ‘Head, Heart, Hands, and Body’ approach, H3Being’s programs go beyond traditional leadership training, empowering leaders to guide teams toward resilience, job satisfaction, and collective innovation. However, as DEI initiatives progressed into broader HR and organizational training, the team at H3Diversity recognized it was time for their brand to evolve with the changes.
The Challenge
H3Diversity had already built a strong reputation, but it no longer captured the full scope of the services and the leadership-driven transformation that Kim, the owner, and her team offered. Kim needed a rebrand that would clearly communicate the company's holistic approach to leadership and resonate with clients seeking innovative, forward-thinking solutions.
Phase 1: Rethinking the Brand
We rolled up our sleeves and started a full-on rebrand for H3Being. We didn’t just give them a new name and logo—we helped craft a new identity that captures their mission and connects with their audience. Here’s how we made it happen:
- Name Change: Moving from H3Diversity to H3Being more accurately represented their holistic focus on leadership and workplace transformation.
- Logo Creation: We developed a modern, versatile logo that reflects H3Being’s mission and values.
- Brand Standards Guide: A set of cohesive brand standards was established, covering everything from colors and fonts to graphic elements, providing consistency across all platforms.
- Messaging Development: We crafted clear, impactful messaging, including a mission statement, elevator pitch, and taglines to communicate the brand’s purpose and offerings.
Phase 2: Implementation and Amplification
Once we had the new H3Being branding locked in, it was time to make sure everything—every touchpoint—reflected the new brand:
- Website Revamp: We moved the existing website from h3diversity.com to h3being.com, updated the design to align with the new brand, and optimized key pages for better messaging and user experience.
- Social Media Strategy: We created 20+ social media posts, including creative assets and captions, for Kim’s personal LinkedIn. We also designed five customizable templates for H3Being’s company LinkedIn page. To make sure the rebrand was fully reflected, we updated their LinkedIn profile with the new logo, name, tagline, and description.
- Capability Statement Update: We updated H3Being’s Capability Statement, an important marketing tool, aligning it with the new brand and messaging to open doors to new opportunities.
The Outcome
The rebranding efforts successfully transformed how H3Being was perceived in the market. The new brand clearly communicates the company’s expanded services and modern approach to leadership development. Since the launch, Kim’s LinkedIn engagement saw a noticeable increase, and the refreshed Capability Statement generated new business leads. Ultimately, the strategic updates we implemented laid a strong foundation for H3Being’s growth in a competitive market.
Why It Matters
A strong, clear brand is important for standing out in a competitive market. For H3Being, the rebrand was more than just a name change—it was about showing up as the innovative, leadership-driven company that they’ve always been. We’re proud to have partnered with Kim to bring her vision to life and position her organization for success in the years to come.
